This is one of our childhood favorites and we have very fond memories of making it often as children. This recipe has been on the back of Nabisco famous chocolate wafers forever! Using heavy cream is much better than the frozen topping if you are not in a rush.
1 box Nabisco chocolate wafers
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups heavy cream whipped or 1 8 oz. container frozen whipped topping, thawed
chocolate curls, for garnish (optional)
Whip the cream until soft peaks form. Stir in the vanilla extract. Spread 1/2 tbsp. topping on each wafer. Begin stacking wafers together and stand on edge of serving platter to make a 14" log. Frost with the remaining topping. Chill for 4-6 hours. To serve, garnish with chocolate curls. Slice roll at 45 angle. Makes
