
We have used this marinade on flank and skirt steak, but you can use it on any type of steak. It's a very simple recipe and is absolutely delicious! The first time we made this, we were hesitant to use the red pepper flakes because we do not like spicy food. We put it in anyway and were pleasantly surprised. Very flavorful.
1/2 cup olive oil
1/3 cup soy sauce
4 scallions (cut in half)
2 large cloves garlic
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
Blend all ingredients together and marinate any type of steak for at least 2-3 hours.
