Tricia's Noodle Pudding (Kugel)

This is another variation of noodle pudding. This one is a little richer than our grandmother's version, but also quite delicious! Thank you to our sister-in-law Tricia for this wonderful recipe.

PUDDING:

1/4 lb. butter, melted
8 oz. package cream cheese
4 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups milk or half & half (We like to combine the two, the half/half makes it very creamy)
2 tbsp. vanilla extract
8 oz. wide noodles, cooked
cinnamon

TOPPING:

1 cup crushed corn flakes
1/2 tbsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. butter, melted

Preheat oven to 350. From the pudding portion: Blend the butter, cream cheese, and eggs together. Add sugar, milk or half & half, and vanilla. Mix together. Sprinke cinnamon into mixture. Transfer to a large bowl and add the cooked noodles. Stir together. Pour into a greased 8x8 glass dish. Add topping. Bake for 1 hour at 350.
