Pumpkin Bread

This is a great pumpkin bread recipe that we got from a friend. We like it because it is very moist when done. The nice thing about this recipe is that it makes 3 loaves, so it's good to use at holiday time when you have a lot of baking/gift giving to do.

3 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
3 cups sugar
1 cup vegetable/canola oil
4 eggs
2/3 cup water
1 can pumpkin

Optional(according to your taste): walnuts, raisins, pumpkin seeds, chocolate chips

Mix all dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Then mix all wet ingredients together in a separate bowl. Add moist to dry and mix well until combined.

Pour into 3 separate, greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.

  1. This is AMAZING! I love this bread. I made three of the smaller loaves and they were perfect! Thanks. . .
